LWVGT Hero
Our League Heroes

What makes a hero? Someone who goes above and beyond for the greater good. What makes a LWVGT hero? Someone who goes above and beyond all the time for our League.  Because their work is often behind the scenes, we don't always know what our League Heroes do. Once a month, TWGT will feature one of these outstanding individuals to give you a snapshot of their important contributions.
Becker Springer
Barbara Becker and Cheri Sprenger

Barb and Cheri co-chair the Candidate Debate and Forums Committee. Their job is to contact candidates, coordinate dates, times, and locations to put together our forums. This summer Barb and Cheri have already put together three forums. They are currently working on at least four more for the fall.  Their work provides our League members and the community with important opportunities to learn more about the candidates in a non-partisan format.
