Who can join LWVGT?
The League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson (LWVGT) welcomes new members, ages 16 and older, male and female. We do not discriminate based on gender, race, religion, political identity, physical abilities, gender identity or sexual orientation. We seek to expand our diversity in order to broaden our perspective and better serve all communities in Pima County and the greater Tucson area.

What are the membership dues? 
Flexible membership levels allow anyone to participate regardless of their financial circumstances. Dues start at $20 per year, and standard individual membership is $75 per year. 

How do I join?
To join LWV and pay the annual dues with a credit card, go to the  LWV Member Portal. To pay by check, please stop by our office at 800 N. Swan, Ste. 126 during office hours, M-F 10:30am-12:30pm. 

Your membership is in effect from the date your dues payment is accepted until one year from that date. Renewal notices are sent via email prior to a member's renewal date.

Where do the dues go?

Joining the League means you are a member of LWVUS (national), LWVAZ (state), and LWVGT (local). Membership dues are divided as follows: 33% to LWVUS, 47% to LWVAZ, and 20% to LWVGT. Your dues fund the operations of all three organizations, including office space and utilities, technology, supplies, special events, and more.

How do I get involved in LWVGT?

The day after you join on LWV Member Portal, you will receive an email with information about logging into lwvtucson.org, where you will be directed to answer questions about your interests, skills, and talents. You will also have access to the member section of our website with lots of information about our events and operations, with contact information to get involved.
