About this event

End Homelessness

What will homelessness look like under this Administration?

Community Discussion Panel

Homeless advocates, including the League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson, are

worried that massive funding cuts to federal agencies and programs could have

significant implications on how homelessness is addressed now and in the future.

Actions by the President signal significant cuts to government spending raising

concerns about what changes may come in terms of homeless programs and funding.

To explore this issue, we will hear from three panelists that will explain the role that

federal funding plays in the nonprofit sector as well as the assistance provided to

homeless women, veterans and youth.

Our panelists include: Diana Sheldon, Interim CEO, Sister Jose Women’s Center

Suzanne Bond, CEO, Esperanza En Escalante Bethany Neumann, Director, Youth on

Their Own
