Homeless advocates, including the League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson, are
worried that massive funding cuts to federal agencies and programs could have
significant implications on how homelessness is addressed now and in the future.
Actions by the President signal significant cuts to government spending raising
concerns about what changes may come in terms of homeless programs and funding.
To explore this issue, we will hear from three panelists that will explain the role that
federal funding plays in the nonprofit sector as well as the assistance provided to
homeless women, veterans and youth.
