Tucson Youth Vote is a nonpartisan civic youth-driven organization for young people ages 14-24 in the Tucson area. It is open to anyone regardless of gender, gender identity, race, ethnicity, ability, student status, or political party affiliation. It is funded by the League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson and advised by the League's Youth Committee.
Activities include:
- Voter registration
- Get Out the Vote
- Candidate forums
- Meeting with Representatives
- Advocacy on youth issues
- Educating young voters
- Researching ballot initiatives and propositions
- Observing government meetings (city council, school board, etc.)
- Leadership training
