 What is This Week in Greater Tucson?  This Week in Greater Tucson (TWGT) will arrive in your inbox on most Monday mornings providing a quick overview of what is happening in the LWVGT in the coming week, the links for more information, and the links to the virtual meetings.  It will also provide information on events that may be of interest happening within the State of AZ and LWVUS.  
 
 If you have content you wish to share with This Week in Greater Tucson, please complete the TWGT Form . To access the site, first you must log in as a member. Please note: the deadline for submissions is Noon the Saturday before Monday's email.

LWVAZ_2024ElectionProtection
Urgent: We’re Recruiting!
Help us spread the word to students! 

LWVAZ is sponsoring students to poll watch with the Arizona Election Protection Coalition on Election Day, November 5th. 

Students can earn $125 - $350 by helping ensure everyone is able to cast their ballot.

Voter Registration: 
 
We need volunteers to be trained in Election Protection for the upcoming elections. Volunteers will work with other local organizations, learn best practices, and be able to advocate to ensure the voting rights of others are protected. Please email:   president@lwvtucson.com  for more details

You Can Help Get Out the Vote From Home...
Training for Texting and Phone Banking!
You can pick a training date between
Monday, October 28 - Monday November 4
But the earlier the better!

Not all of us have the time or ability to participate in out-of-home voting activities. But you can still make an important contribution by joining our Texting and Phone Banking project. 
 
 Phone banking is happening now! We have phone banking campaigns to reach women voters 18-65. We plan to reach over half a million women voters in Arizona. Your phone calls will urge women voters who have not voted to vote early, skip the lines, and vote the full ballot. Phone banking is easy. We need lots of people to get every woman to vote.
 
Use this session to get training, help with issues, or talk through how-to ... join our team that can get you up and running and give you the confidence to make calls or send texts. Register for one or more sessions by clicking the link below.

Phone banking is in progress. We have phone banking campaigns to reach women voters. We plan to reach over half a million women voters in Arizona. Your phone calls will urge women voters who have not voted to vote early, skip the lines, and vote the full ballot. Phone banking is easy. It's all hands on the phone to get every woman to vote. To register, click the links below. They link to different calling lists, depending on whether they are on the Active Early Voting List (AEVL) or voting in person.
