The League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson (LWVGT) announces the release of the updated A Citizen’s Director of Elected Officials.
“Elections bring changes to our government,” said LWVGT President Nancy Hand. “It can be hard to keep track of who is in office. Every year the League publishes a user-friendly guide so Pima County residents can easily identify and contact their representatives. That’s what Democracy is all about.”
A Citizen's Directory of Elected Officials is a booklet listing elected officials who represent Pima County residents at all levels of government, along with other
useful information for voters. The Directory, which has been published since 2006, is updated after every election.
“We are very happy to partner with the Pima County Public Libraries,” said Hand. “Anyone can pick up a copy of the Directory at their local library. They also have a lot of other important and useful information for voters, including voter registration forms.”
The Directory is also distributed to the Pima County Recorder’s Office and the administrative offices of towns throughout the County. Copies will be available
beginning February 15 th .
